"Battle to Bloom was born from my own journey through homelessness, domestic violence, divorce, family court struggles, and starting over as a single mother in the fight of my life. During a three-month period of homelessness in San Antonio, I spent weeks at the airport while volunteering with a nonprofit that served homeless veterans and families. Sitting where those in need sat, while facing my own challenges, changed my life and revealed my God-ordained purpose. Now, I'm no stranger to hitting rock bottom! But I told God that if He got me back on my feet this time, I would not get up and build my own empire, but His Kingdom."
